PROACTIVELY PROTECTING YOUR BUSINESS

ABOUT OUR PRACTICE

We created Legal Advocacy Headquarters (LAHQ) out of our passion for serving people.

Our business was founded on three main principles – compassion, honesty, and respect. We pride ourselves on our commitment to practice these principles each day. We provide outstanding service and leverage technology to offer affordable pricing and unique methods to access legal services.

As a Veteran-Owned Small Business, we support non-profit organizations that provide services to Veterans. Read more about how we support Veterans below.

OUR PRACTICE AREAS

We specialize in two practice areas: Business Law and Trademarks.

We believe predictable billing practices provide you with much-needed certainty in your budget. Our small business and trademark services are offered through monthly subscriptions and flat-fee (or fixed) prices. For most services, you will know the amount of your bill before we start.

We are not a high-volume firm. We intentionally keep the number of clients we represent low so we can give you the personal attention you deserve. We are unique in the legal field for our cost-effective flat fees and subscriptions.

OUR TEAM

When you hire Legal Advocacy Headquarters, you get a team to support you with your legal needs. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service. We are committed to creating long-term relationships with our clients based on respect and mutual trust. We ensure all details are simple, seamless, and handled in a timely manner.

Get to know us. We look forward to getting to know you too!

Martin Parsons

I retired from the military after spending four years on active duty in the Marine Corps and twenty-two years, part-time and full-time, in the Illinois Army National Guard. I served in Iraq from 2005 to 2006 with the 2-130th Infantry Battalion in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After retiring from the military, I decided to attend law school and graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law.

After graduation, I practiced business and employment law in Carbondale, Illinois before joining the faculty of SIU School of Law to reestablish its Veterans’ Legal Assistance Program.

While I continue to teach as an adjunct professor at SIU School of Law, I primarily focus my time and effort on assisting entrepreneurs proactively protect their small businesses. I am fascinated with advances in technology in the legal profession and continually study ways to provide legal services more efficiently and cost-effectively to small business owners.

I have an addiction to the paisley pattern and if you see me on any Friday, I will be wearing a paisley shirt!

Customer Experience Officer

Akami Eayrs

I will likely be your first contact at Legal Advocacy Headquarters. I have more than 20 years of customer service experience and pride myself on the personal attention I offer through our client's journey. I love working with all of our clients and getting to know them and their families. You are more than a client, you're family.

One of my favorite quotes that shapes my view of service to our clients is by Maya Angelou,

"At the end of the day people won't remember what you said or did,

they will remember how you made them feel."

OUR NON-PROFIT SUPPORT

We believe in giving back to our community. Each year, we select one non-profit organization supporting Veterans to donate time, resources, and money. This Veterans Day, we will select the organization and pledge a portion of our profits for the following year until the next Veterans Day. Throughout the year, we promote the organization in various ways through social media and small events. On the next Veterans Day, we present our support check and select the organization for the next year.

Check back on November 11, 2022 to see the non-profit organization we will support in 2022-2023!
